I shot and edited an observational short film on Deborah Mason's Dance School in Somerville. In the film, the compelling nature of rehearsals unfolds as dancers and instructors practice for a show. The most beautiful moments of the theatre do not always occur on stage, this film captures how the rehearsal - the blood, sweat and tears of performers behind the scenes- can be the most beautiful expression of their art.
